Shea to move on from OMB
 By Christopher J. Dorobek

Robert Shea, associate director of the Office of Management and Budget Administration and Government Performance, has told associates he plans to leave in September.

Shea has been the right hand man for Clay Johnson, OMB's deputy director for management, and he has been an avid proponent of transparency, and for accountability in program performance and federal funding.

He received a 2008 Fed 100 award for the remarkable work getting USASpending.gov up and running - and not only on schedule, but before schedule.

Shea has earned the respect of both political and career feds.

No word on his plans for the future yet.

Michael Hardy writes for Federal Computer Week, an 1105 Government Information Group publication.
