Haddad named chief acquisition officer at GSA

By Michael Hardy

Theodore Haddad, a senior adviser at the General Services Administration's Office of the Chief Acquisition Officer, will become the agency's CAO June 22.

Haddad will succeed David Drabkin, who has served as acting CAO since January. Drabkin is deputy CAO and will retain that position under Haddad.

Acting Administrator David Bibb announced Haddad's appointment today. In the early 1990s, Haddad was an acquisition executive for the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force.

He has held other executive positions in government and the private sector.

Michael Hardy writes for Federal Computer Week, an 1105 Government Information Group publication.
